District Councillors

Cllr Jane Warmington (TDBC)

Jane Warmington has lived in Cothelstone for over thirty years, is married to a farmer and has been a district councillor for six years in a team of three in the seven parish Bishops Lydeard ward (where she is also on the parish council).

Cllr Mark Edwards (TDBC)

Mark Edwards has been the Councillor for Trull and Staplehay since 1999 and has been an active member of the community helping many of the residents with many and varied issues.

Cllr Stephen Martin-Scott (TDBC)

Stephen has represented various areas of south west Taunton on both Somerset County Council and Taunton Deane Borough Council for the past 16 years. He is Deputy Chairman of the SW Taunton Conservative Association.

Cllr Roger Ryan (TDBC)

Roger is currently a Taunton Deane Borough Councillor, representing the Halcon ward since 2013, he is married to Sue who runs a local Bed & Breakfast in Halcon.

Cllr Andy Sully (TDBC)

Andy Sully lives at Norton Fitzwarren with his wife and has lived in the Taunton Deane area for 30 years. He runs his own business, and since elected has been made Chairman of Corporate Governance which is the audit committee of the council.

Cllr Terry Hall (TDBC)

I joined British Telecom direct after leaving University. My first appointment being in the east end of London, followed by a transfer to my Home town of Torquay, then Exeter, Bristol and finally Taunton.

Cllr Bob Bowrah BEM (TDBC)

Bob has been a Councillor since 1999 and represents Wellington  West and Rockwell Green at Town and Deane level.

Cllr John Gage (TDBC)

John has lived in Taunton all his life, attending Heathfield Community School and Somerset College of Art and Technology.
He has made Taunton his life long home, and hugely passionate about the town. With its wealth of history and firm standing as the capital of Somerset.

Cllr James Hunt (SCC & TDBC)

James has been a local councillor since his success in a Wellington Town Council by Election in 2009 and is presently a Town Councillor for Wellington East.
