Cllr Catherine Herbert (Vivary)

Catherine has been ward councillor for Killams & Mountfields since 2007. She has worked with the local residents association to resist development on the Vivary green wedge and is currently active in the A358 campaign to protect her ward. She has assisted residents with planning matters and local issues and worked to tackle the parking problems in the area.

On the council Catherine has been portfolio holder for Leisure and she led the project to build the Blackbrook pool.

For the last year Catherine has served as Mayor of Taunton Deane, representing the Borough at civic events, supporting local charities, community groups and arts organisations across the borough.
Catherine is keen to see a parish council set up for the ward, to protect the Vivary wedge and to continue to support residents and be a strong voice for Vivary Ward.
